They love bouncing around on fresh branches in the sun, while having a shower under the special sprinkler system we have set up on our aviary.

Companion Macaw
Macaws can be quite noisy at times. Owners will need to spend plenty of time socializing with their companion macaw to keep them happy and entertained.
Would be an ideal environment if they can have room to fly in an outdoor aviary, giving them room to stretch their wings and much needed sunlight exposure for their health and well being.
If no room for flight aviary, time outdoors with a strong cage, or if harness trained time with you outdoors.
When you take a companion macaw into your home, you effectively become their "flock" and must include them in as much family activities as you can. Companion macaws thrive on attention from their owner and will form a strong bond with its family members. They require a good deal of time and attention from their owners or another bird to be happy.
A well cared for macaw that receives appropriate nutrition, mental and physical stimmulation and attention, makes a happy companion that is affectionate and loyal.
